Advertising   The client, one of Saskatoon's most popular tourist attractions, asked for ideas on a fresh approach to their previous menu. We provided the concept, design, illustration, layout, and print management for what has become a signature part of the Berry Barn's riverside dining room.

Branding - Explore Saskatchewan Resident Tourism Awareness program


Identity   Developed the Explore Saskatchewan brand for an annual advertising campaign with web, print, outdoor, and video components. The client was striving for something simple, yet distinctive, that evoked a sense of motion, open spaces and fresh air, with a visual reference to the provinces different landscapes, from grassland to boreal forest. New product label - Petrofka Bridge Orchard Apple Cider Vinegar


Packaging   The client, a Saskatchewan apple and cherry orchard, needed a label that helped position the product as upscale, fresh, and natural. Designed to wrap around three sides of a rectangular bottle, the required UPC code is not apparent when viewing the front face of the product on the shelf. Client: Petrofka Bridge Orchard Website

Promotional brochure - Petrofka Bridge Orchard


Advertising   Concept, design, layout and print management for multi-use brochure. The concept was to position the orchard as a family-run business, focusing on the freshness of the product. The brochure was also intended as a lure piece to direct the local market and tourists to the orchard concession at the farm gate. Client: Petrofka Bridge Orchard Website

Book design - Everett Baker's Saskatchewan


Books   Cover and interior page design for coffee-table volume containing historical essay on Everett Baker and a collection of his photographs, taken during the 1940s and 1950s, mostly in rural Saskatchewan. The initial hardcover edition, which we designed with a different cover, sold out very quickly. The cover shown is for the subsequent softcover edition, issued in 2008, and still a bestseller.
